HYPNOTHERAPY PRACTITIONER LEGISLATION
The practice of Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy is completely de-regulated in every state and territory of Australia. You do not need any special or licenses or any level of training to legally practice as a Clinical Hypnotherapist. Correct and proper training is a moral responsibility and without it you will have trouble gaining membership to accredited hypnosis associations and/or gaining practitioner insurance. Some training organisations might tell you that you need to train with them to be able to practice, or that the Government is going to re-regulate the practice. Both of those statements are FALSE.

We conduct regular Hypnosis trainings in Melbourne Sydney Brisbane Adelaide and Perth
In Victoria the academy has three training levels. Students can complete a Nine Day Certificate of Clinical Hypnotherapy followed by a Diploma of Clinical Hypnotherapy & Psychotherapy and an Advanced Diploma of Clinical Hypnotherapy & Psychotherapy. Upon completion of The Nine Day Certificate of Clinical Hypnotherapy students have access to further trainings including the academies Diploma of Clinical Hypnotherapy, Advanced Diploma of Clinical Hypnotherapy – Mesmerism – Traditional Hypnosis – Hypnotic Fascination – Mind Body Healing Hypnosis and much more.

In Perth, Adelaide, Sydney, and Brisbane. The Certificate of Hypnotherapy is a six-day practical training that affords basic yet competent hypnosis skills and trains students how to use hypnosis correctly to assist people with various life challenges.
The Diploma of Clinical Hypnotherapy & Psychotherapy requires the completion of an online Psychotherapy course plus other online training between attending another seven days of practical training approximately six months later, plus the completion of a distance learning approved Basic Counselling course.
The Advanced Diploma of Clinical Hypnotherapy & Psychotherapy requires more online study and the attendance of a further seven days of practical training. Plus, the completion of an online Magnetism training course and the completion of an approved online counselling course, and an online Psychotherapy course.
Once you have successfully completed the Advanced Diploma of Clinical Hypnotherapy you can then be recognised as a clinical member by the Australian Hypnotherapists Association – (AHA). If you’re already a member of the AHA, then you’ll be pleased to know that all our training is also recognised as CPD points.

Refund Policy
Upon registration for any training course all students are immediately given access to the academy’s curriculum via PDF training manuals and a password to access the online student training and resource centre portal at www.hypnouniversity.com. Under our training terms and conditions this means that you have begun your training from the date of registration and payment. Once the PDF training manuals curriculum has been sent via email and online training and resource centre access has been granted, the training has been considered as started and so THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS, as this represents a Change of Mind which is not a valid cancellation reason under consumer law.
If any training in any state is postponed due to Covid lockdowns or border restrictions, the training will move forward to the next due date. If due to unforeseen circumstances training dates change for any training, a minimum of seven days’ notice will be given by the academy via email to the registered student. No refund of training fees will be made unless the training is absolutely cancelled. Cancellation does not mean a change of training dates.
The academy will also not be liable for or pay any reimbursement for any travel expenses or accommodation. We recommend that if you are traveling to the venue from interstate to book refundable or changeable tickets and accommodation. If a registered student cannot make it to the training or needs to cancel for any reason a credit for the value of an equal training will be offered. By registering and/or paying a deposit or a full payment for any training, the student acknowledges an understanding and an agreement of and to all the training registration conditions.
